I have been going here for years, and Rosemarie is not only the friendliest hostess, she’s an excellent aesthetician, and also a friend. Par Excellence’s location is perfect, a historic building located in a historic downtown, in Havre de Grace MD. This little town makes the perfect weekend getaway, and Par Excellence makes the perfect stop for nails, facial care, and more. Her staff/nail techs are friendly, the experience is intimate, and you’ll leave ready to come back for more. So make an appointment, relax with a cup of tea, and get pampered!

My wife and I didn't spend long here, and we certainly won't go back. We chose this salon specifically for its high reviews and spa-type setting, and we were looking for a place as local as possible so we could make a habit of regularly visiting for manis, pedis, and facial treatments. When we first visited the address, we were disappointed with the hours of operation, but coordinated to come back as soon as we could. Today we visited at noon, two hours before closing (2pm on a Saturday). Nobody was present in what we assume was the reception area and nobody greeted us (even when the door chimed), so we walked into the back (the business is out of an old house) and found two ladies with clients receiving manicures, who immediately greeted us with cold, annoyed stares, not saying a word. Had a very relaxing experience. Heather who did my manicure and pedicure was very nice and easy to talk to. The place has a very nice atmosphere set in an old Victorian house. Even when getting a massage the place does not have a clinical feel at all like some places do.

Had an opportunity to get a facial at this wonderful little gem in Havre de Grace, MD. They offer several services including, massage, skin care, pedicure and manicure, and teeth whitening. Very professional and knowledgeable, Rosemarie helped me to decide what was best for my skin, and I can say, my skin feels great. Looking forward to my next visit! Definitely recommend this beautiful and relaxing place!
