Papillon the salon

I found Faye through a GroupOn deal. I walked in and just said she could do whatever she wanted. She and another esthetician discussed and I just let her go. I haven’t had my hair looking this good in many years. Her prices are very reasonable and the location is pleasant but not loud or busy. She really enjoys her work and I am glad I found her!

Maryn Mitchell is an amazing young woman & true artist. She took the time to listen to my tween daughter, pamper her and gave her a beautiful haircut.

I’m giving Faye 3 stars (2.5 if that was an option) only because she did a wonderful job on my teen daughter’s highlights. I guess that’s what mattered, but that’s the only good thing I can say. This was my daughter’s first time getting highlights and our first time at this salon and it unfortunately wasn’t a pleasant salon experience at all. Faye treated my daughter unprofessionally and rushed through the process and rushed my daughter from one chair to another and clearly allowed only the bare minimum amount of time required to do full highlights on long hair and she knew ahead of time how long my daughter’s hair was. I’m guessing she didn’t allow much time because she was giving me the service for the price of the Groupon which was also supposed to include a shampoo and cut but I told h

Came here using a Groupon and can now say it was the biggest beauty mistake I’ve ever made. The stylist was unbelievably rude and disrespectful, and the service was beyond unprofessional. It’s been three years, and I’m still dealing with the damage she caused to my hair. She clearly had no idea how to do highlights—or hair for that matter—what I ended up with were chunky, uneven stripes of brassy yellow. My hair was so over-processed that chunks were literally breaking off. I left in tears and went straight to another salon, where the new stylist was horrified. She said she had never seen anything so badly done and it cost me $400 just to begin fixing the damage. Please, save yourself the heartache (and money) and avoid this place at all costs. No discount is worth this kind of damage.

This is the cutest place! The vibe and style make you feel like you are walking into your providers house! Easy to get to in downtown Cary with lots of parking right out front.
