Palm Beach Tan

This is the only spot I will send my lady tanning because of how nice and accommodating the staff was. Brittany, was able to show me the tanning packages best for her that I could get for my lady and also explain the different tanning solutions they sell there that I should purchase. For a guy it’s very intimidating going into a tanning salon for a girl but when you have this great customer service rep making the process easier it puts you at ease as the consumer. They have tons of tanning beds and there’s a lot of free parking in the shopping center. I’m sure they have many other locations but after this great experience I will only go this UltraTan.

Extremely predatory practices. Just avoid coming here. They intentionally set individual visit prices high so that you get a membership. So I did the membership. I made sure to confirm with the receptionist at this location I could cancel over the phone - because I’m from NY - and she said usually they do in person but since I’m not from there I could just call and they’d do it over the phone. First lie! I call a week later to cancel, suddenly it’s “not an option and you just come in person.” I explain my situation, the work around is you can “freeze your account.” I made sure to explicitly asked if I will be billed a single dollar for anything, they said nope all set don’t worry! Second lie! I see, now 2 months later, I’ve been billed $7.50 per month. I call back in, receptionist can’t

This salon was awesome after being ripped off by palm beach tan in Florence (an employee took my cash for membership in Florence) the staff here was very empathetic and reported my situation to corporate. Good to know that these palm beach tans don’t even take cash! Still enjoyed my spray tan membership and they helped me look up my correct market code so I can visit and palm beach tans and enjoy my dark spray tan!

The beds here are good. I always maintain my colour regardless of how little or often I go. Michelle is fantastic… and really the only reason I became a regular. She makes the place welcoming and keeps it clean. She’s very knowledgeable in tanning and always recommends what’s best for you. I almost gave it 3 stars because the issue here is staffing. I have tried to tan at least 4 times, and the doors were closed.. and there’s no way to call the salon or see updates online. Would rather just call instead of driving all the way there for nothing. I have seen some of the reviews and answers about staffing shortages (which I know too well myself) so I was lenient with the rating.
