Palm Beach Tan

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Palm Tan Beach. When I canceled my membership, the employee hid the fact that I was signing a document agreeing to be charged for an additional month. I was told I was signing a cancellation form and wasn’t shown the document to read before signing. This feels dishonest and misleading. I believe I was misinformed and charged without my clear consent. I requested a refund for the additional month that was charged after my cancellation, and they declined it. Don’t recommend to use the service.

I have been here 4 times. None of these visits have been pleasant. Girls at the front desk are not friendly and actually rude. The first visit, I went in for a spray tan, the machine went off on its own. I came and told the girl and she didn’t think that could happen and then she saw it doing it. She said I didn’t have to pay for the spray that I didn’t get. Second time the machine didn’t spray below my knees. I came the next day and the girl argued with me and then said the machine had been broke but they fixed it. Obviously not. I went in yesterday, again not greeted with any kind of smile was lead to a machine that I was not familiar with and because of that, was sprayed 3 times in the front and once in the back. I am a client at Palm Beach Tan in Germantown. My daughter and I were trying to handle some business at this location and had the most horrible and unacceptable interactions with the staff ISABELLA and MARLEY. The business being that I had the manager in 2023 switch my paid tanning sessions to spray tan sessions due to being diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. She was wonderful. So kind and understanding. Here I am while still going through treatment and multiple surgeries coming in to the Germantown location asking ISABELLA kindly if I could transfer my spray sessions to my daughter if she opened an account with this location. Again I am still battling this horrendous disease and ISABELLA could not have been any colder than when my daughter took a tour with her checking things out about

Two different days I came in and had interactions with the manager, young, blonde. She was extremely rude. All but rolling her eyes at me and ugly look on her face. Ask me my name, I told her my full name, bc there are several with my name, she looked rudely and said LAST name. I told her, she out right said, do you remember your first name 😳 I said of course, I remember my first name. RUDE, I proceeded to leave after session, I turned and asked what was maximum time and she said it tells you on the wall by the door. Again RUDE! Poor management, during that shift which was evening on a Tuesday. The other staff has been very sweet and helpful. No complaints.

I came in 15 minutes before closing to get a spray and the manager isabella was very irritated and rude. She started out by saying “we weren’t expecting anyone to come in this close to closing” so I proceeded to tell her it would only take my 2 minutes, I’m quick! Her response was “actually the spray tan takes 3 minutes”. This is not the first time I have seen her irritated and rude.
