Stephen is absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough how thankful we are for him. He did my son’s first haircut and has done every single haircut since. My son was recently diagnosed with autism but even before the diagnosis we knew he was different and I was so scared to take him for a haircut because I knew he would freak out. Stephen is so patient and never rushes. He never makes us feel like a burden and my son loves going to get a haircut because he’s never felt stressed there. Stephen remembers who we are and you can tell he loves what he does, and he does a great job at it! Thank you Stephen for always taking care of Zeke and being such a kind person!

This is the best barber shop I've ever had the pleasure of going to. Stephen cut my hair for years before I moved away. Even now, I'll still occasionally drive an hour south just to get my haircut here. I, personally, love that they book reservations. I always hated going to first come/first serve barber shops. Plan your cut in advance, book the res, and show up at that time. It's that easy and convenient.

Well Savanna D’s one star review was obviously a lie because Pack Horse does not even have any type of register and why would you wait and write a review a whole year after it supposedly happened yes you wouldn’t. Pack Horse Barber is the best around all 3 of the guys are great my son refuses to go anywhere else!!

I wish there was a zero star option. Everyone was telling me that I should take my 6 year old autistic son to Pack Horse Barbershop because they know how difficult and upsetting a haircut is for my nonverbal son. The referring friends said the owner was good with children or he had an autistic relative or something of that sort… I thought ok great! One day last year (2024) me and my son (who is visibly and audibly autistic) walked in and the first Barber on the left (the owner) walked to the register and asked if I needed a hair cut. I replied “this little fella does”. Well he just kind of stood there and was looking down at his phone. I said “can you cut his hair”? And he said “no”. That is literally all he said.
