Owatonna People's Press

For a smaller town newspaper (compared to Rochester, St. Cloud, etc) the People's Press is really quite impressive and I thoroughly enjoy reading it when I come to visit! The reason I gave it a 4-Star is that I mirror Gary's frustration with trying to contact them with a subscription issue. Better get it together, PP, or you will lose your business.

It is pretty bad when you call and nobody answers the phone. The machine says we are experienced high quantities of calls and no one calls you back

We live in the country of Steele county, and we just don't get our news paper every day like we should I have to keep calling in when I get up and then I don't get to talk to a real person, always a voice mail. Guess they can't get good people to deliver early in the morning I would stop the delivery but its the only way we get information from Owattonna. Guess people in the country aren't important to them.

Paper is ok, but your phone service stinks. My wife wanted to re-subscribe to your paper and she called all the numbers listed in the paper and got no answer. She also left a message on the customer service line. Got no call back. Guess you don't want to sell any more papers.

used to be good paper! Blooming Prairie Times is best!
