Over the Top

I have been coming here to see Mike for a couple of years now and awesome is an understatement!! My son is high functioning autistic and barber shops have always been a nightmare plus his hair is very curly and you really have to know what you’re doing . Mike has done a wonderful job each and every time we have come , for years I been trying to get my son to cut his hair because he won’t do braids or a ponytail he doesn’t like the feeling and is not very good at maintaining long hair . Finally yesterday Mike talked him into it and he absolutely loves it !!!! Thank you so much Mike and thanks to everyone at Over the Top the atmosphere is always great in there !!!

Walk-ins (Walkens) always welcome. I went to 3 places near my house 25 minutes away from this shop. My first stop I had an appointment. That place canceled my appointment. The next place I went to was in Billerica. It was closed on a Thursday at 11am. What am I trying to get at? Over the Top is old school; open, friendly and inviting. The staff was awesome and somewhat entertaining while listening to the banter amongst their camaraderie.

My first time coming here and I was a walk in & Ryan took care of me, The service and haircut was amazing! I got a skin fade and one of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely will be back to see him !

From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a friendly smile and great conversation. The shop is clean, well organized and has a relaxed atmosphere. I’ve been to many barbers over the years, but Ryan really stands out! The attention to detail to my cut was top-notch—he really took the time to accommodate my preferences. You can tell how passionate and dedicated he is to his craft. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled and personable barber! Ask for Ryan!

came in here last minute and Ryan was able to take care of me for a walk in. I’ve been struggling trying to find a hair style that looks good, and with having thin straight hair I’ve never liked the outcome of what my hair looks like when I did it myself / barbers I’ve went to in the past. When Ryan asked me what type of cut I was looking for I basically told him whatever he thinks would look best, that’s exactly what he did. 10/10 customer service and skills from him. On top of the nice environment and good music they play inside, I’d 100% recommend going to this shop. I’ll be booking with Ryan next time as well for sure 💯
