Our Daughters Salon

Our Daughters Salon is one of the best salons I have been to. Tanya is an amazing stylist, and knows her craft. My hair has never been so healthy. I have never felt comfortable wearing my natural hair out, even when it was straightened until I started coming to her for my hair maintenance. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new stylist, or anyone in need of hair stylist that cares about hair health and retention to give her a call.

Tanya is an excellent stylist! I can not say enough about her expertise. She is very good at listening to exactly what you want and then advising you as to what she feels is best for your hair. She's very professional, personable and highly skilled at what she does....I highly recommend Our Daughter's Salon.

Our Daughters Salon suites has a group of talented stylists (cosmetology, loctician, natural hair artists for braids, twists, silk presses, etc.) right here in Durham! It’s a hidden gem located on NC-55 (Food Lion shopping Center). Stop by for a consultation, you will not be disappointed.

I was looking for a hair salon near me that I could go to every 2 weeks to get my hair done and I saw that this one was close to me. So I booked an appointment on style seat to get a protein treatment, it says it had Wednesday available for 10:00am, so I booked that. A few minutes later I'm getting a notification saying that the owner canceled my appointment. I guess I'm just have to take my business to another salon.

The owner is very nice and does a great job with natural hair. However, I was over-charged for my first visit. It was supposed to be $75 but I was charged $90. I made a second appt at the end of my first appt and did not go through styleseat. I made the appt with her in the salon. When I showed up 5 weeks later for my appt she had over-booked and said she would call me when she was available. The call came a 8pm that night. I was offered another appt for Friday at 6 pm but this time does not work for me. Even though I liked the results I will not be returning.
