Origins Organic Hair Studio

Origins is more than a hair studio it is a beautiful safe creative space. When selecting a hair artist for my hair I usually like to spend my money in environments that foster something more than just a hair cut. You will feel and hear that in Origins story as a hair studio. Not only are your services rendered with the environment in mind (e.g. eco friendly recycling, products without harsh chemicals, products that you can refill IN studio, etc.) you are getting some skillful hair artistry. I have been in and out of hair studios and used to only trust my sister with my hair but Sarah did such an incredible job with my big chop. I would recommend her services to anyone and EVERYONE!

I have had good haircuts in the past - but, Sarah really knows how to cut my kinda wavy hair so it can be curly or straight without much effort. Being able to schedule a n appointment just to address the bang grow out is key. The products are wonderful and not difficult to use. AND I can let my hair air dry (which I usually do) or use a dryer. Whatever my heart and my time desires!! Sarah is not only great with hair she is great with people - a wonderful human!

My hair health and appearance has transformed in the time I've been going to Origins and using their recommended shampoo and conditioner! Whether my HAIR GOALS are funky fresh or maintenance-based, Sarah makes me feel like they are fully invested in understanding my wants and needs, and achieving the dream. Beyond my hair looking and feeling all around better than a pre-Origins-me's, I also appreciate the extra efforts Sarah makes to lessen the environmental impact of their small business, because voting with my dollars is important to me.

I have been searching for years to find somebody in Maine/New Hampshire who knows how to cut curly hair as well as Sarah! She is a gem. Not only will you get a great haircut, but her space is beautiful, and the entire experience is lovely.
