Oriental Massage of 17th Street

Staying at the Embassy Suites across the street, I looked for a place I could walk to. So very convenient, a friendly greeting after a short wait in lobby, and was able to take me right then as a walk-in! Massage was complete, asked if pressure good during, targeted needed areas and she successfully released all my tension & stress from traveling. I left relaxed & refreshed! Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here for months now maybe 4-5 months. I come here 2-3 times a week spending nearly 1k a month not including tip. Which is my choice and I’m ok with that. What I don’t like is that the past few weeks one of the masseuse is constantly DEMANDING a $20 tip. Now many times before I’ve asked if they offer a membership (since I’m there often) and I was told no. Which is fine. I continued to go there but what I don’t appreciate is that the masseuse demanded a $20 tip after I tipped $15 Which is 20% of My bill. On Tuesday I brung my niece to have a massage with me and it was embarrassing to see her go back and forth with a 20year old about tipping $20 and not to mention she had an attitude wondering why she didn’t tip $20. I have to take some accountability on this one , as soon as my mother and I walked in a lady at the front desk and the massage lady named cocoa were in a heated exchange…. I still decided to proceed with cocoa anyway , she was clearly visibly upset , and proceeded to start my massage rushed , and frustrated . I immediately stopped the service . Will not be returning .

The lady gave an okay massage but I paid for 90 minutes. The lady was playing on her phone most of the massage. She then cut the massage 20 minute shorts and then had the audacity to ask for a tip at the end. I will not be returning.

Horrible service. The room is smell so bad. And don't speak English. And don't know how to massage 😩
