Orchid Nails

Have been going to this nail salon for years. Always excellent service and have been treated like family. That was until yesterday. I wanted a different service)guess it’s called a full set?). Technician didn’t understand my needs, cut off any nail growth I did have and then wanted to put gel on my nonexistent nails. They looked like a kid’s hands. I stopped the service and went to check out. I was charged 20.00 for not even a full manicure. I went to another salon today and got great service and exactly what I wanted. Sorry to say, but it may be a long time if ever, if I return to Orchid Nails.

Sammy did my toes today and the pedicure was so good!!!! She also did a manicure and she was very thorough, great massage & attention to detail!! Went in as a walk-in and was able to get seated right away, even though they were busy!!!

Posting on my husbands account but he called for last minute booking for me knowing nothing about this place, and they got me in right away!! It was very quiet and wholesome, I enjoyed the deluxe gel pedicure was so comforting while simultaneously getting a gel manicure. Nail polish was crisp and fresh, beautiful bright coloring and lotions smelled wonderful. Staff was respectful, kind, and pricing was very very reasonable. I loved the atmosphere here and wish I wasn’t just visiting Tucson so I could periodically go back. Highly recommend orchid nails for your spa needs. 🥰

Worst nail salon i’ve ever been to. i have come here twice for simple soak offs and both times the lady who does it (dont know her name but its the first chair next to the pay counter) starts prying my nails off. generally i have a specific nail tech i go to but sometimes shes too booked to fit in a soak off, and i know damn well they should not be PRYING my nails off, CUTTING my skin with the dremel? then i tell the woman it hurts and she catches an attitude, puts my nails in the bowl with acetone finally and hides in the back. whys a simple soak off take a whole hour? because she’s hiding in the back instead of working. she didnt even get all the acrylic off and made my middle nail thats in the process of healing bleed even more, when it already stopped 2 weeks ago. it is also not clean.

I told her I wanted clear dip. The nail tech made my nails very thick when I asked her to make them thin. She made my ring fingernail look crooked. I got my nails done on Mother’s Day (Sunday). It is now Friday and my nails look like they need to be redone. I wanted chrome and she kept saying she would show me the chrome colors but then she insisted I not do chrome or French. So she did the basic service and charged me $80. No chrome. No French tips for $80. One week later, I need to go back to the nail salon. I highly recommend for everyone to go elsewhere because their service and prices are awful.
