A most fabulous experience with Felipe! If you’re looking for a hair stylist who knows exactly what to do with your hair when you walk in, he’s your guy. His studio is delightful, a small shack in his backyard with doors wide open to the outdoors. Very generous with his time and insights too, he gave me a bunch of ideas with my job search and was so understanding of my financial needs. Thank you Felipe, I’ll be back in 6 months. 😊

If you don't mind yielding total creative freedom to Felix, then his salon might be a good option for you, but, unfortunately, it wasn't for me. I tried to share my preferences, but he was not receptive, and, ultimately, I did not end up liking my cut after I washed away the blow-out. The price was very reasonable, and his mini salon was cute and surprisingly spacious. I just prefer having more control over my own hairstyle because I know what I like and what looks good on me. He is clearly a longtime professional, but his approach just didn't work for me.

Felipe always does a great job on my hair and I’ve recommended him to several friends who now love him too. He recently impressed me by being so good with my kids - he kept them happy and still (!) and their cuts look great. Affordable and great location in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

Outstanding haircut and experience!! Felipe is so talented and does such thoughtful work—trust him and his suggestions for your hair. Would recommend a thousand times over!
