I had an amazing experience at Opal Waxing for my Brazilian wax! From the moment I walked in, the space was spotless, welcoming, and very professional. Adaizha my Brazilian Specialist was knowledgeable, efficient, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire appointment. She walked me through the process, checked in to make sure I was okay, and gave helpful aftercare tips. The Brazilian wax was quick, thorough, and much less painful than I expected. The results were incredibly smooth and long-lasting. If you’re in Chesapeake, VA and looking for a professional, hygienic, and high-quality waxing studio, I highly recommend Opal Waxing. Today was my first time visiting Opal Waxing, and honestly, I’m a little disappointed with my experience. I normally go to European Wax Center, but I decided to try Opal because I’ve heard so many great reviews. I booked my appointment online and noted in the comments that I was a new client. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk, but there was a sign saying to have a seat, and I wasn’t waiting long, which I appreciated.Once I was brought to the room, the waxer immediately got started and told me to undress and where to lay my head. There wasn’t much of an introduction, so I actually had to stop and say hello and ask her name. I introduced myself and mentioned that I was new to the shop, and she did apologize and introduce herself afterward. I booked a Brazilian, frequency treatment

I have been a customer since 2022 and have tried many different wax specialists but I have had such a great experience with Gisele! She is incredibly sweet and has the best personality. We laugh the whole time, and she made a potentially awkward experience super comfortable. She is very professional and maintains a clean, private, and welcoming space. She is a speed waxer! She gets me in and out in no time and it’s practically painless when she waxes me, also she doesn't miss a single spot. She’s very detailed-oriented and ensures I leave completely smooth. She is a total artist when it comes to hair removal. I wouldn't trust anyone else to wax me. If you're looking for someone who is both gentle and efficient, she is the one!
