Owner was unbelievably rude on the phone. That was insane. I’ve been wanting to call this salon for a while now and when I finally did I regretted even thinking about wanting to get service done here. i called a few minutes ago because i wanted to know store hours and before i can even say anything the lady on the phone said “yes” in such a aggressive and nasty tone, never addressed the salon or anything, literally just “yes”. I was so confused and asked her if this was On’ja cuz i thought i might of called the wrong number, she then replied back in the same rude tone yelling “ what is this in regards to?” I had to tell her that i was just asking for store hours and that I wasn’t AI to try to calm her down. But by the time she finally said something business related I was just so turned

It's great and awesome food

On'ja Beauty Salon has been in Rahway for over 20 years! Her clientel are mostly African American women. She has been consistent in serving her customers. Women are loyal to her! Her shop decor is not the ordinary, but neither is the service. She is fabulous.

Phenomenal stylist! Always provided guidance on selecting a unique hairstyle, haircut, color that was customized to the respective customer! Joan is a master of her craft!

Only been going for a few years but I've known the owner for a long time. She does an amazing job every time I go.
