Olympic Braids

Braids are always way too tight ... my hair is really thin and service person said " I can not do magic on your hair" embarrassed me in front of staff and others. She tugs & pulls and rips your hair out from the roots. I can't return now because I have spots where my hair simply won't grow anymore. I'm big on supporting black owned businesses so I always give them a second chance & being local and working often plays a big part in being able to drive an hour to Houston vs 10 min to this shop. You basically get what you pay for. This was a $200 cornrow braid down close together... (with tension alopecia on the sides) and now throughout the entirety of my head.

Great job on my hair I left very happy! Very neat braids perfect size. The shop owner was very quick and gentle with my hair! I can tell that this style will last me a while. I got “lemonade braids” with knotless behind. Very happy.

My niece had an appointment at 12 noon it’s going on 2p and she’s still NOT in the chair. I called to speak to the manager she’s gives me an attitude then say I’m giving her one. Yes NOW I will give you attitude my niece is a small child mind you the braids are already 180$ I asked since it’s a troublesome problem on your end. Can the price be reduced. She said it doesn’t work like that. Meanwhile it’s 2p and they are just starting on the 9am appointments. No EMPATHY for others time what’s so ever. The price need to be reduced It’s NO WAY! You should have OVER booked 50 people or more for knotless braids it’s NOT smart . It’s giving money hungry! If my niece didn’t won’t these braids so bad for school we would’ve been left!

I’ve been going to this place off and on for a couple years, but the owner never done my hair until these last two times I went worst mistake ever. Yes the owner with the bad blonde wig done my hair, and the second time she did my hair I explained to her that the first time she did my hair it was ugly, the braids paper then, a lot of my hair wasn’t in them, and my scalp was itchy the whole time, but I paid her for a service, so I just wore it, and decided to give her a second chance. She must have been secretly upset because she tried to braid my hair tighter then ever, but I remained quiet, because in my mind I was thinking she might actually put all my hair in the braids this time.
