OLIVE AFRICAN BRAIDS

I absolutely love my hair and the service I received at Olive African Braids!! My hair was started at 8:15 am , by 11:35am I had the most beautiful waist length knotless braids ever!!! The two ladies that did my hair really did a good job making sure my parts were neat and my braids were the same size all over. They were gentle with my hair but made sure not to sacrifice the quality. I drove past about 10 braiding shops between my home and this shop. I am so grateful I went to Olive and I will definitely be back!!!

I got knotless box braids done at Olive African Braids Hair Salon and I couldn’t be happier. They managed to complete them in a reasonable time without sacrificing quality. My edges are intact, the scalp isn’t irritated, and the braids are neat from root to tip. Such a smooth experience, truly top-notch. I will definitely come back

My braids turned out beautiful. I do have to say that the lady that did my hair was very rough while she was braiding. I told her multiple times to be more careful with my hair and gentle but she ripped roughly through any knots that were created while braiding instead of gently using a comb through my hair. My hair was perfectly detangled before my appointment and healthy. The way she did my hair can cause some damage on my own hair which is upsetting because I paid for a protective hairstyle so this is my last time going. Besides that it was okay. My braider also took an 1h break which did not bother me to much but is unusual.

First, I have to say my hair came out amazing!! They definitely know what they’re doing. However, the people who were braiding my hair was extremely rough. Especially Hope. I understand braids have to be gripped/tight, but the forceful head movements, pulling the braids when you’re doing the edges, and harsh combing makes an experience more painful than it needs to be. Also if someone has thick hair, please don’t use a rat-tail comb that causes extra discomfort. One more thing I want to mention respectfully, please be mindful of conversations in your native language around clients. Even if someone doesn’t look like they understand, you never really know who knows what. Thank you.
