I was on my anniversary and I wasn’t able to get a haircut in time from my barber back home in time. We ended up staying across from Old 99 and rolled a dice hoping they might have some time that day for a haircut. I don’t recommend doing this if you are getting a cut at a good barbershop, they typically will always be booked out. Well… I lucked out. Will was in between haircuts and once I asked if they had any openings he shot up from the chair and said let’s do it now. I was shocked. Completely lucked out. The haircut was fantastic. Dude clearly knows his shit. You can always tell how good a barber likely is based on how long they spend on the fade. More than half the haircut was him doing the fade and that’s a good thing. You don’t want your barber spending 15 min and calling it good. H

(sorry for the weird blur on the last pic) the first picture is an old hairstyle i had (yes, this is a picture of me, not a reference of someone else's hair) that i'd told the barber to try and recreate - i didn't use product in my hair back then, so i figured it'd be pretty doable. the hairdresser had me turned away from the mirror the entire time she was cutting my hair, so i had absolutely no idea what it looked like until she was finished. the other four pictures are what i got. to be fair, this was after i'd come back in because i really didnt like how it turned out the first go around (it looked like a bowlcut, even though i specifically told her to not give me a bowlcut.), but this doesn't really make it any better. there was no attempt to try and blend the top from the buzzed par

I love this place. Camillo cuts my hair and he’s wonderful. Try this place first. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The space is also so cool. Decorated with amazing art. This is a real barber shop. Heck they even wash your hair which is rare nowadays. Keep up the good work fam

My teenage son is very hard to please when it comes to haircuts, not a lot of people know how to work with African American hair here in Bellingham. Upon entering Camilo came over and greeted us, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The music was great and all of staff were friendly and up beat! Definitely coming back.
