Olathe Beauty

I went to the store today because I needed a few supplies to do my son’s hair. I was hesitant because when I would go there in the past the workers were always so rude. However, against my better judgment I went. I grabbed some hair accessories and some loc/braid gel. The braid gel had a price sticker of $9.99 on the product and near the product on the shelf. The hair accessories were near the register with no clear price tags around the product or on the product packaging. We get to the register to pay. The lady behind the register scans the hair accessories first (which rang up$1.49) she then deletes the $1.49 price and quickly changes it to $1.99. I believe she didn’t think I saw her do that, but when I pointed out that the product rang up for $1.49 and not $1.99 she started to do a bac

I only go to this beauty supply store if I really need something small and don’t feel like driving out to the good stores and since it’s the only one In Olathe but every time I come here the owners make me feel uncomfortable and just stare at me through the aisles as a look for the items I need.. they definitely give “hurry up and buy” vibes at this beauty supply store. I’m done spending my money here they’re so overpriced and the wig selection/ whole store is so outdated overall. I’d rather make the drive out to the city or somewhere else good to buy my hair products, They also make up their own prices on items even though it says one thing they’ll charge you a different price completely and try to be sneaky about it.

Not a bad beauty supply. Some of the prices are higher than what I'm used to but they still have a huge variety of beauty supplies.

Way to expensive and the products are on the wall where you can not see or get to top compare the color work your hair.

It’s unfortunate that the man at this store treats people as if they are stealing. I was returning an item and was trying to find a replacement since the store has a no refund policy. I opened a package of hair bonnet to look at the size since I’ve bought one before and it was smaller than I expected; the man yelled at me and was rude telling me to return the product in the package as if I was stealing. I decided to shop for something else and the whole time he was watching me and asking the lady working with her to watch me. It’s hard to shop in this place at ease! I’ll never shop at this place again and won’t recommend to the black community. They should stop profiling people.
