Oh Baby Salon and Spa

This was my first time at the salon, and Elyssa did my hair. I accidentally booked the wrong service because I had no idea what I was doing, but she was so kind and helpful about it. She showed me inspo pictures, talked everything through with me, and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. She was also great to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

I had previously been seeing a stylist here whose work I absolutely loved, but she moved out of state. I decided to try the stylist quiz, which matched me with three options based on personality and what I was looking for. I chose my stylist because she was described as experienced and we seemed to have a few things in common. I booked an evening appointment and, although I was tired from work, I was genuinely excited — I only get my hair done 2–3 times a year, so it’s a treat for me. First I’d like to say, that I went to get a second opinion of the service that was done, I was told the way the extensions were installed could have been pretty damaging to my hair potentially even causing balding after six weeks. The sewing was done poorly and the way the wefts were installed it didn’t match my natural hair density and additionally my part was not clean at all for where the wefts were placed. I was under the impression that only 3 or 4 wefts were going to be installed. However it came out to be that there were 5 wefts and with that much of hair it was causing slippage with in the first 1-2 weeks of having them. They were making me uncomfortable because they were so heavy for my hair type and causing pain to my scalp. If a client has to come back before 3 weeks due to slip
