October Glory Salon & Wig Spa

I have been going to Jhavaunna since 2017 and have had both my parents bask in her talent! I just had to post after having multiple ppl comment on my hair after my post holiday/pre travel visit. My hair is silky, hydrated, and a web for compliments and curiosity! My trim did not compromise the overall length and brought out the movement and beauty of my hair. Jhavaunna was also nice enough to pin curl my hair to protect it from the Wizard of Oz wind that awaited me outside! She was time efficient and the ease and speed of her styling reflects her high level of skill. She also listens to all my stories without judgment (but with laughter and enthusiasm without needing to patronizingly agree) so I gladly travel 1000+ miles for her skill. I brought my daughter in for a silk press and I could not be happier with the results! From the moment we walked in, it was welcoming, and professional. The stylist took her time to really care for my daughter’s natural hair—washing, conditioning, and treating it with so much attention before doing the silk press. The end result was amazing—her hair came out silky, smooth, and full of shine without feeling weighed down. Most importantly, it still had lots of body and movement. My daughter couldn’t stop smiling, and it gave her such a boost of confidence. I’ve been coming to this salon since I moved to Brooklyn 3 years ago and I could not be happier with the service. I wear my hair naturally and see Jhavuanna a few times a year for blowouts, trims, coloring, and special occasion styles. My hair health is always top priority and I know I’m in good hands with her. Jhavuanna creates a warm and welcoming environment as well.

October Glory is hands down one of the most amazing salons. Jhuvanna is such a talented and precise stylist, she can make any vision come to life, in fact, she can make your vision better than imagined. As a Christmas surprise she worked secretly with my partner to create a new custom wig with bangs. I wanted to try bangs for a new wig however I was nervous about it looking too stiff. She customized a new wig with an amazing new color with natural Blonde highlights. When I arrived at the salon she then asked about different bang options to fit my face and then precisely began to shape the bangs and layers to fit My face. The hair quality is amazing, soft, and healthy even with the coloring. The bangs are light and move naturally. I am totally in love with my new look!
