Ocean nails & spa

I did a UV gel tip and I’ve gotten this service done so many times around the Bergen county area and no one does it right for short nails. What I mean by this is they usually put so much gel, they make the nail look fat and not natural. When I say something the manicurist usually blames it on my nail bed and I just let it go. Fortunately, I found Linda at ocean nails and spa and did not have to endure terrible treatment. As my manicurist and she not only listened to what I asked for but she did such quality work (pictures below). I recognize the hard work and quality she put in to make sure the set came out the way I would have liked. She was able to do the full set in a hour with no mistakes. If she can make short nails look this good an natural, imagine longer? Thank you Linda! Edit- ju

I recommend OCEAN NAILS IN SADDLEBROOK NJ for manicure or pedicure. I have been here several times during this year . The gel manicure that was done here was Excellent, very professional, talented and skilled. The waiting time is almost none .Very easy to make an appointment. Always someone will answer your calls. I go there every month to get manicure and very happy everytime!

I went to this place under the impression that they were very very good. No. The man that did my nails was so incredible rough. Manhandled my hands and arms the entire time, usually in a painful way, he filed off the skin on my finger causing me to bleed, and didn’t sanitize or wipe the blood off the file I’m assuming gets used on everyone. He was rude dismissive and very huffy the entire time, and also rolled his eyes at me countless times. On top of all this, the DAY AFTER I got them done, my nail snapped in half while I was simply texting. I hope to receive a full or partial refund along with a new nail for all this, but I have very low expectations. If I could, this place would be a zero. I came in and asked for a regular french pedi… I was in this salon for 1hr and 30mins. I had two different woman work on my feet. I also did ask if she could make them look even because last time I was here and it was not even .. also mentioned to not make it so thick and she still proceeded to make it look thick. The one nail tech had to redo my right toe at least 5 times and still did not get it right.. her excuse was it wasnt drying enough but in reality the nail polish was clumpy and tacky it clearly needed to be changed for a new one.. I was also not accommodated for the inconvenience. And they let me leave the salon with my feet looking like this…. I am not coming back here. They need to do better.

I was so incredibly happy with their work!!! They were all really sweet and gentle. I was recommend by a coworker and I'm grateful for it. Thank you so much to the ladies who helped me today! I'm excited to come back. :) Btw what I got done was a gel extension removal and reapplication plus a gel pedicure.
