If I could give 0 stars I would - this is the worst manicure I’ve ever had! Omg I should’ve known when I was sitting waiting and overheard the guy at the first seat (come to find it was the owner!!!) talking about Trump and politics with the woman that he was doing!! I should’ve walked out then! Anyway, I got another gentleman that did mine down the row a bit. I KNEW I needed my cuticles cut more than anything as the skin around all of them and around my nail bed was driving me crazy and I kept picking them. My nails had peeled off from another manicure and I had been working in the yard and around my house a lot so I was overdue. I am visiting from Philly with my friend. I wanted to bring her to get her nails done while on vacation. While searching for places online, I came across Ocean Nails. The only reason I went to this salon was because from the photos it looked clean. This stood true when I arrived. However, they are extremely inconsiderate, not good at painting nails, and super overpriced. The quality of work is absolutely terrible. After asking multiple times how much it would cost and getting no response from the owner, himself, I should’ve left then and there but I figured I’d give it a shot. That was a huge mistake, resulting in wasted time and money. Now I’ll be honest, I am used to my regular salon prices back in PA, which are $35 for a gel pedi and $40 for a gel mani. I’m so happy I finally gave this place a try after moving to the area and having trouble finding a go-to nail salon! Tommy and his wife Pamela (the owners) are great people, super nice, family oriented, and excellent at what they do! I see Tommy every 2 weeks for dip powder manicures, and alternate between a full pedicure and a matching toe polish change. He slays it every time! He is extremely detailed and quick, and gives the best massages ever! I’m usually so particular especially with the shape of my nails and the paint job, but I always leave the salon beyond satisfied, totally relaxed and happy! You need an appointment because he books up quick, but it’s so worth it! The salon is small, but very clean and comfortable with lots of local regulars!

First timer with Ocean Nails. LOVE them and so happy I found them!!! Got a gel manicure and pedicure. Pamela and her husband split the appointment—one did nails, the other feet. Both turned out fabulous. Have gotten many compliments on my nails and highly recommend!! Both took their time with me. Applied multiple layers of polish, and after two weeks, that included time spent cleaning and chores, they still look good. Will absolutely positively go back!!!

This was the first time I went to this salon. The staff were friendly, the facility was clean, and they honored my appointment time. The prices were very reasonable as well. I was most disappointed with the application of polish, which I have never experienced at a salon! The gel polish covered my cuticles on both my nails on toes. Since it has been cured, I can’t remove the polish with acetone. It will likely cause the polish to chip early. I wish I had noticed/paid attention during the service so I could have asked my nail technician to remove the excess polish prior to curing it in the gel lamp.
