My daughter is going to be 14 in a couple of days and dreams of becoming a nail tech when she’s older, so finding the right place for her first real salon experience meant everything. The receptionist, Brittney — who is absolutely amazing and someone I know very well … recommended Torrie for her appointment, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Torrie was incredible. She was patient, kind, and took the time to explain everything she was doing, which meant so much since my daughter loves practicing nails at home. You could see her confidence growing with every step. It wasn’t just a service, it was an experience she’ll never forget. Obsidian Nail Studio made her feel welcome, inspired, and excited about her future, and as a mom, that’s all I could ask for. We already have her next appointment

Edit: I just have to tell you about Alexa - she is absolutely AMAZING! She's not only incredibly nice and funny, but she pays such close attention to detail that time just flies by when I'm with her! The talent these ladies have is truly indescribable. Every time I get my nails done, they surpass my expectations, and the compliments I receive afterwards are nonstop. This is hands down the best place for nails in PGH! Wow, I just have to say that I am absolutely in love with my nails! I have been getting acrylic nails since I was 7 years old, and now at 25, I have had quite a few sets. However, none of them compares to the amazing job Stephanie did on my engagement nails. Update: I reached out to Stephanie, owner of the salon, and she got me scheduled to redo my nails! Her customer service and prompt response and willingness to fit me in is wildly appreciated. She took the time to make sure my nails were seamless, the right shape and length, and flashy for me to show off. And I have more appointments booked with her for the coming months! I was glad to get a spot from the waitlist this weekend because I had wanted to come here for a while! The studio itself is beautiful and looks so clean and chic. I would consider coming back, despite my experience. I was just a little sad at the level of service I received. I was able to snag a last minute gel mani and pedi appointment with Jesse using the waitlist functionality. She was so great- I wanted really simple classic nails for a wedding and she helped me pick out the color and did a flawless job. Definitely recommend coming here!!

I love this nail salon! Everyone in there treats u like an old friend! The girls are so talented and can do pretty much anything u want on your nails! They are so creative! It is a clean and calm atmosphere and is just a completely pleasant experience! Can I give 10 stars for steph and her crew! Analise does my nails and she always does an amazing job!
