Oasis Hair Salon

I have been coming to Oasis Hair Salon since 2011, absolutely love the experience, it truly excellent from start to finish. The salon itself has a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Everything feels thoughtfully designed to create a positive experience. I had my appointment with Kenya, and she did an outstanding job. She took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted and offered thoughtful suggestions tailored to my hair type and daily routine. Her attention to detail and precision throughout the appointment gave me complete confidence in her work. The difference in quality at Oasis is clear, especially with the products they use. I had my apprehensions about allowing anyone to touch, let alone cut my curly hair. This is the choppiest, most horrendous haircut I’ve ever had. The first photo is the end result, and ultimately how I left the salon. Upon my arrival, I specified to the stylist that I didn’t want more than an inch taken off my hair. All I wanted was to take care of the slight unevenness in the back of my hair, which I also explicitly stated in their new client survey. My replies in the survey were reviewed and discussed at the beginning of my appointment, which I suppose was intended to alleviate any confusion. That was unsuccessful. I had five inches taken off of the front of my hair instead, leaving me with bangs that I did not want nor ask for (they’re very uneven too, which is painfully humorous). Adi,

I have short hair with large curls. It was very hard for me to find the hair stylist who understands what I want. I went to this place and saw Kenya with suspicious! I had an amazing experience. Definitely recommend her.

Today I was running some errands in Wintergreen Plaza and as I was walking to my car, I noticed Oasis Hair Salon. I’m super sensitive to hair dyes and haven’t done it in years, but I’ve been wanting to go into a salon and ask if they had something that could work for someone like me. I thought it was going to be quick, but they looked at my hair, reviewed past results, and asked detailed questions about anything I might be allergic to. Then they gave me a skin patch test. They tested two different brands on each arm, had me wait until it dried, and helped me wash it off. They were so conversational, polite, and genuinely helpful. It felt like a big family in there. You don’t get service like that everywhere. Everyone should really go and support this business!

came in for the first time for a haircut. The stuff here are incredible. Sydney (syd) cut my hair and was such a joy to work with. She not only explained and answered all the questions i had about my hair and any concerns i was dealing with, but she fixed them for me and chose products based on my specific hair.
