Nu-Wave Salon

I had hair color, shampoo and conditioner, haircut and blow dry. It was my first visit. I felt comfortable and I liked what Karyn did with and for my hair. I look forward to going back again.

I live locally and happened upon Nu Wave by accident, but am so happy I did! Karen is an incredible person and an amazing hairdresser! I’ve been going to see her for highlights and cuts for 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. She is always accommodating and kind, and does a fantastic job every time! I’m very picky about my blonde highlights and she understood what I wanted and got it right on the first try!

I always struggle finding a hair salon that does exactly what I am looking for in a hair style/coloring. Today, I visited Nu-Wave Salon today for the very first time. Karen was so welcoming and very attentive to what I was looking for! Her salon was super clean and very relaxing. It was evident that Karen is well experienced and dedicated to her clients. I will definitely be returning to her, and highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a professional and excellent stylist!

Karen is wonderful; she puts so much time and effort into your hairstyle. And the results are amazing (loving my haircut & highlights). Highly recommend her!!

While my haircut was fine, my experience was not...getting an appointment was nearly impossible and you could tell the owner was frustrated when I said I had a Groupon. She only takes one Groupon appointment a day so the options were extremely limited. The moment I walked in, I was spoken to in a rude manner as I was criticized for bringing a physical copy of the Groupon voucher, as opposed to an electronic one. No where on the Groupon ad (or when I made the appointment over the phone) did it say you must have the app downloaded on your phone for redemption. Once the cut started, I was asked to brush out my own hair...never once have I been asked to do that in all my years getting a haircut.
