Nu Image Nail Spa

This was the most disappointing nail appointment I’ve ever had. I came in with dip nails that had tips on them and gel on my toes. I wanted a pedicure and the gel removed and no nail polish put on with the intent to let my toes breathe. I then wanted my dip nails and tips removed and dip out on my natural nail to aid in the growing out process. I left with dirt still in my toenails and dip nails that look like a preschooler did them. I had product all over my hands and even had to ask the nail tech to shave down the nails more before she put the top coat on because they looked like bubbles! This was my third visit at this salon and first time getting any sort of manicure. They usually manage pedicures well but idk what was in the air today. Completely unsatisfied and a waste of $105. Shame

I have been coming here for years because it is close to home and they can usually fit me in same day. I paid extra for their moding polish and it started to chip like completely off the next day. (I was initially told they weren’t going to charge extra for the moding polish but of course the next time I came it’s now 5 to 15 dollars extra.) They refused to completely remove the polish. They wanted to just fill in the chipped spots which I thought was ridiculous considering how expensive the prices are. For example just to change your polish it is 33 dollars!! They’ve unfortunately lost a long term customer. I was already tired of the prices increasing with every visit but this was the last straw for me. They charge you for EVERYTHING..when it’s time to pay expect to always pay 10 to 15 do

Staff was friendly and got me in right away as a walk-in. Salon was clean and they had a ton of great color options. My dip nails lasted for 3 weeks which was great! I do, however, have two ring of fire-damaged nails from the appointment after having the dip removed. Will try to go here again earlier in the day to give them more time to work on my nails

This salon uses MMA which is illegal in the state of Illinois. Upon soaking off my nails the acrylic is gummy and gooey which is not supposed to happen unless MMA monomer was used. Disappointing 👎

This is by far my favorite salon in the world. Every artist who works here is incredibly talented. I have never walked away unhappy with my nails or waxing service and I have been coming here every two weeks for 5 years. They are consistent, kind, clean and thoughtful.
