My husband and my son both go to this Barbershop. I've never had a problem with the Booksy app when making appointments for them. I graduated from cosmetology school & did my hours cutting men haircuts in Los Angeles so I know how a haircut should look! Which was hard to find in Ankeny! I absolutely recommend this Barbershop! My husband's and my sons haircut come out great and blended so well.

Made appointment online the day of, for 6:40pm, for around $40, arrived 10 minutes early and my barber just started on someone else. Figured I’d just wait because I don’t mind sitting for 10-15 minutes. Sat for an additional 20 minutes and my app asked me to confirm for 7:00pm, which would up my price to around $54. Canceled my appointment and walked out. Poor time management by this place.

Made an appointment for my child 3 days ago. Get there 15 minutes early. After sitting for 30 minutes I ask about my kids appointment. No one seems to know anything about it and it was never scheduled. I can say after wasting 30 minutes and no acknowledgement from any one of the “barbers” then to be told there wasn’t an appointment is an absolute waste. Would never recommend to anyone.

Great experience, that old school barber shop atmosphere I’ve been looking for. TruTheBaber did a great job. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Excellent service and everyone is very welcoming. Mario did a great job on my son’s haircut. He was a little hesitant to try a new barber but Mario kept a friendly conversation going with him and my son said he’d like to come back!
