A shady business, to say the least. My elderly mother paid for her subscription for months without receiving a single paper. Her many attempts at resolving the issue through calling customer service have been fruitless, and she keeps receiving new bills even though they don't deliver her papers. Don't subscribe to this horrendous scam in the guise of a newspaper. They're unscrupulous dirtbags.

The paper itself has gotten smaller, yet the price has gone up, for us, its now at $50 a month. I appreciate the fact that there are less local news services, but what frosts me the most, is their habit of hiring less than bottom of the barrel delivery personnel. We've been through many in the last few years, most of which started off fine, then spiraled downward as time went on. If I didn't need lining for the bird cage or kindling for the woodstove, I would cancel in a second.

Horrible experience. Rate increase ridiculous. $96 for 13weeks after being told it would be $56. Were customers for 30yrs but no more! Horrible service, all calls routed to florida. We cancelled due to rate increase. Received call from someone who said they worked in Norwich office and offered us better rate to return. Bill arrives and it's still 96$. Done!!

This place is ridiculous they try to charge you for stuff u didn’t order and after stopping the paper it kept coming and I kept getting billed! Smh customer service was horrible she told me they charge u $9 to send a bill out! Even tho I purchased this threw Groupon and it was all prepaid! Smh I’m done with this paper never again will I even purchase it at the store! I am a huge couponer the main reason I wanted it to be delivered ,I will be posting and spreading the word to the 100’s of others who buy the paper only for coupons to just buy The Day ! Oh and they don’t tell you about the extra their going to charge you for it’s somewhere in the paper! When I asked what page the lady didn’t know lol ! Not in emails not when I called did they say they were going to charge me an extra $26 dol

As decent a local paper as you can get. Although, local sports reporting quality has decreased with Marc Allard leaving.
