Absolute disaster of motor swap. Tech hooked up starter generator backwards and caused an electrical fire. Claimed the proven part was faulty even when the shop on the field and multiple technicians stated otherwise. Cost us additional weeks and thousand of dollars. I asked the company if it would polygraph the tech at my expense since everyone in the industry said the part had to be wired wrong and they packed their bags and left. Certified tech probably had the uncertified tech who was their to assist him hook it up. He needed an assistant because he was in excess of of 500lbs and couldn’t get out of his chair. He had to have uncertified tech to get to hard to reach places and fetch all parts.
