Northside Barbers

Place is hit or miss and the only reason it’s not getting at 1 star. My first haircut here was great, exactly what I wanted and they still left enough length on top. My most recent haircut however was quite literally the worst haircut I’ve ever received. I showed up with the same two reference photos that I did the previous time, and yet it wasn’t even close to what I wanted. The sides had no fade at all (despite asking for it to start at a zero and the picture clearly showing a skin fade), the line up and the faint fade that was there was EXTREMELY uneven and noticeable when looking at me straight on, the back was barely touched despite me asking to cut it to an inch (I measured when I got home and the hair was nearly 3 inches long) and my roommate had to cut off the “rat tail” that was v

Had appointments booked and accepted me as a walk-in. I didn't get his name but lets just call him Ozzy Osborne; was super friendly and didn't let me walk away without a cut. Clean and professional looking hair afterwards. Great experience and not overly priced.

If I could leave a 0 star, I would. I had requested a #2 on top which I got, asked for medium fade and tapered sideburns to hairline…showed John the pictures and he said he understood, not sure where it went wrong but I got a low fade and no tapered sideburns and he didn’t ask to do the beard trim which wasn’t the service I requested(mind you I did my own beard days before going in so it was already short, just stumbles he razored off), he just said let’s do the beard with no patience to ask if that’s why I would like extra. Kinda shocking that a beard trim costs just as much as the haircut itself. So I guess I’ll taper my own sideburns and wait for next time around to go to a barber that provides the service a guest comes in for and not the service the barber wants to give. Paying $52(for

Always a great haircut, and the prices are very fair for boulder. Just had my haircut by John, and I cannot say enough good things about his skill. Thank you guys for being the best!

I've been coming to Northside Barbershop for nearly 20 years, starting with Josh's grandfather for my flattop haircut. Josh and his grandfather give haircuts you can set your watch to - true masters of their craft. Today was extra special as Dave gave my grandson his first haircut. The experience was absolutely amazing! Dave made my little man feel safe while he worked his magic. I'm so grateful that my grandson and I can share the authentic men's barbershop experience together instead of having to use a ladies salon. If you're looking for skilled barbers who honor traditional men's grooming in a welcoming atmosphere where generations can connect, Northside is the real deal. Five stars doesn't seem enough!
