Northgate Barber Shop

Northgate Barber Shop, to me, is worth the hour drive from the Brenham area. Sure, I try to couple it with trips for other things but I'll make the trip just for a haircut if need be. Their people listen and cut my hair the way I want it. I've seen a lot of different customers, young and old, getting a variety of different styles there. The shop's people are genuinely personable (no rehearsed lines), and no gimmicks or pushy sales of "extras." Cost is reasonable. The place isn't fancy; it's more the old-style barber shop atmosphere. But they offer a lot of services and a senior discount if you qualify. I don't know if it offers military discount but just ask. You can make an appointment of walk in, but there are plenty of chairs and I've never had a long wait time.

I get my hair cut here pretty often and I have to say the service is great everytime.

barber cut hair too short and uneven, also kept making references to my “race” , felt very uncomfortable and highly recommend other places if you need a haircut.

Quality of haircuts have gone down, not really sure why, for some reason they cut much higher and shorter than every other barber in CS. Many of my friends have stopped going here which sucks because of the convenience.

Very good at providing cadet whitewalls that are straight. Fade is good. Reliable and quick.
