Nomad Organic Spa

I received a Groupon as a christmas gift for one of their spa packages. I called and made an appointment on February 21st for March 3. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment to the building locked and a cease and desist order posted saying this establishment does not have a license to do bodywork that was posted february 12th. Disappointed and confused how I was able to call and get an appointment when they were supposed to be closed. Will be reaching out to Groupon as well.

Great spa place in Newton. The receptionist was very welcoming and asked all the right questions to make the visit enjoyable. The massage was amazing with the right pressure that I was comfortable in. It was calm and relaxing, you don’t hear outside noise. I would come back to this place for sure.

I have been a returning customer, so I’ve had the chance to observe this business over multiple visits. Unfortunately, a consistent issue has become impossible to ignore. The male manager/owner, Andy, significantly affects the atmosphere whenever he is present. The environment immediately feels tense and uncomfortable. It is very apparent that the front desk staff — mostly young women, likely students or recent graduates — become visibly nervous around him. From a customer’s perspective, this is unsettling to witness. What is most disappointing is that I’ve learned he was once a massage therapist himself. Given that background, I would expect a greater level of empathy and respect toward both staff and practitioners. Instead, his behavior often comes across as dismissive, condescending,

My first visit with a Groupon. Yuki at Front Desk handled everything smoothly from scheduling appointment to checking me in and out. Massage Therapist Anna was very professional and did an excellent job for both the Tunia and Foot Reflexology Massage. Very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend to check this place if you are in the area.
