No 1Hair Braiding

Today was my first day at this braiding shop. It was very neat n clean. The first time I ever seen the owner do this lady hair and tell her it’s free. When I tell you those stitch braids was so neat n pretty. Then in comes an older lady she sent her out the door looking like a new person then the lady had the nerve to pay her way less than she charge. How you gonna wait till your hair is done and you knew the price was more than what u had but you sat down without asking. But the owner didn’t argue or say anything to her but I knew she did that owner wrong. Elderly or not pay the correct amount. But the owner showed nothin but respect and grace. Definitely liked my box braids and will be returning. Thanks for a great experience

My coworker refer to this place to ask for the owner, but when I called the owner couldn't do my hair because I think she will be out for couple weeks, i couldn't wait , so I decided to go with someone else. My daughter and I are very pleased with the service we received. These ladies are amazing. I feel safe in they are hand. I know a lot of braiding shop but this one are the most professional one I seen so far. They price is very affordable. I highly recommend this place. The service is very fast ,knotless 3 hours for one person is just amazing. I will be back and I hope to meet the owner next time. Thank you

I went to no 1 hair braiding for large knotless braids, and when I first got there I started to have a positive experience, but half way through my head the braider tells me I have a lot of dandruff. I told her I normally do not have dandruff and asked her what product she was using and she tells me jam. I tell her it’s probably the jam and I will have to wash my hair when I get home. Any other braider would switch products, but she didn’t Then I hear another stylist in french say jam causes a white cast once you put the mouse at the end it goes away. Throughout the rest of my service they continue to talk about the fact I have a lot of dandruff pellicules this and pellicules that. Which is the french word for dandruff. I’m all for speaking the language you are most comfortable with, but

Update: 10/3/25 Good Afternoon more than 48 hours have passed from speaking with the owner who is just a liar, stated that she will resolve and call the next day and didn’t. As a customer that was baited and switched services and filed said complaint, The owner made no reply or response from her after I reached out, after stating that she was refunding my money and didn’t. She wanted me to come back to the shop and for what? That was not going to end well oonsidering I my employment they all may have been deported . Instead I opening a State of Maryland Attorney General complaint along with the Better Business Bureau to include a complaint with the State of Maryland Dept of Labor and Licensing Cosmetology Board for your conduct in this matter to include not remedying said complaint as you

I went to this salon to get passion twists for my 40th birthday vacation to New Orleans. I went in on a weekday, and the salon was not crowded. I was taken immediately. I did have to provide my own hair because they do not supply crotchet hair. My stylist was very nice and accommodating. She made sure I was happy with my style after completing the first row of twists. I really appreciated that. The twists were neat and long, just I asked. The price that was quoted on the phone was what I was charged. The salon was clean along with the bathroom. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I was there a little longer than I wanted to be, but I did enjoy the music, and I don't mind sitting if that means my hair is beautiful. Long story short, I would return for my next style and recommend
