If you have Afro texture hair please be mindful that depending on where you go, there will always be someone who doesn’t not know to do your hair. The amount of heat used was extremely excessive. I decided to go to this place last minute because I really needed a trim. While the washing my hair part was good, the blowing drying and styling portion was traumatizing. When you are detangling type 4 hair, you must start from the bottom and work your way up. Unfortunately that was not the case and it was a very bad experience. Lastly, I made several attempts to communicate with the woman doing my hair to lower the heat of the blow dryer but she was insisting on continuing. This is my first time getting my hair done at the salon I usually go to the one across the street but because of high demand and the place is always crowded I wanted to get in and get out so I decide to try Nina salon but the lady there that did my hair it's an older woman don't speak much English very very rude I asked her to dye my hair black and instead of putting a dye in my hair that is black to cover up my gray she put a rinse of the color black in my hair and said oh this rinse is very very good it's good for your hair it's not a die that's not what I asked for the rims apparently whatever chemical it is my hair started falling out and I could just just touch my hair and it was falling and when she was blow drying my hair she was burning my scalp so badly with the blow dryer and not

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! I asked for a trim and they cut my shoulder length hair to my chin. And it’s a bad cut too. After trying to work on getting the issue corrected or a refund, Nina denied it even happened and offered me a deep conditioner. She stopped communicating with me all together when I told her I didn’t want a deep conditioner. I went to the salon as a final plea and she didn’t care. Now I have to spend more money to get my hair fixed and I’m distraught to get my hair done again.

Worker was discriminating!! Owner and worker was PREJUDICE!! Came in @1pm an older lady is in the shop by herself doing one lady’s hair. Worker asked if I wanted color, I said no. She asked blow dry? I said no. She said what you want I said wash then roll. She said no roller and $60. I said no blow no wrap she said $40 and wait. Another black young lady came in 10 minutes after me. I waited 45 minutes. When it was my turn the worker told me to pay. I said how are you asking for payment and no work was done. I went and she washed my hair still saying blow dry it would look real nice long. The young lady that came after me was leaving worker tells me let her do her hair first then she’ll do mine. The young lady kept saying no.I said no roller she said no she don’t do roller and I didn’t pay

Love the experience being as though it was my first time coming here . Clara was very professional and did a great job on my relaxer. I will def come back and have her do my hair. One thing though, next time I'll bring my Bobby pins because they don't use them and if u ask for them, they charge. Never been to a salon that does that but overall, I'll def keep coming here.
