After years of having terrible experiences with getting my hair colored and cut (aside from 1 person in the past) I have finally found someone in the suburbs that knows how to take care of curly hair. It’s mind boggling at the limited care and education people have with curls. Many claim they know but as soon as they take the wrong brush to the hair and start brushing from the top I know that the appointment will only go down hill. Luckily, Nieka is a godsend . Not only did she do an amazing job with my color and cut, but she helped give me tips for maintaining and upholding my curls. She was an absolute delight! Lastly, her prices were so reasonable especially for all the work that she does! I dread getting my hair done after years upon years of bad cuts but I no longer need to stress. I

Nieka is an artist, stylist and coach all in one. She helped me navigate to my natural color hair and I am enjoying the transformation.

That was my first appointment with Nieka and for sure not the last one!!! She did an amazing job... My hair looks beautiful, better than I expected... On top of it I need to admit that she is very meticulous and she really takes her time to make sure that client is fully satisfied. Thank you Nieka! You are wonderful... :)

I tried out Nieka yesterday. I brought my two daughters for haircuts based on several Facebook recommendations that mentioned her great work and low prices ($10 for kids!). I'm so glad that I did! She is very sweet and was great with my 8 and 3 year olds. She offered recommendations on styles best suited for their different hair types and style requests. Bonus: her salon has a great view of Bangs Lake so waiting is very relaxing.
