Nicks Barbershop

Came into the shop and they instantly greeted me and sat me down for a cut. Afterwards they freshened my hair up and made it clean. Utilized high quality equipment. The ambience and environment was amazing. And they cracked me up with some jokes; very social. Only took me around 30 minutes and it was amazing 10/10, would recommend

Very nice barbershop, nice fades like always and very good energy. My barber is Nick and I mess with him heavily, always kind and always has gotten me right, well priced also. Also while you are waiting you should go check out the parrots, Red and Blue. Very nice, massive, clean and very good environment in general. This barbershop is the best in ridgewood and recommend for anyone that has anything special upcoming and for anyone that is looking for a barber nearby!

I took my 1-year-old son for a haircut with Nick, and he was absolutely amazing! Nick was so patient, gentle, and friendly — he made my little one feel comfortable the entire time. It’s not easy cutting a toddler’s hair, but Nick did it perfectly and with such care. The haircut came out great, and my son actually enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Nick if you’re looking for someone who’s great with kids and really skilled at what he does!

Honestly I don’t really write reviews but this place warranted one. I have been going to Nick’s Barbershop for quite some time and it’s the only place that I’m aware of that deserves a perfect five star rating in New York City from the atmosphere to the services they provide. The possibilities are quite literally endless to what you can do to your hair and other services. Nick is a great guy and business man that puts the needs of the customers first, but the barber who really steals the show in terms of service/skill is JayFlawless he’s been stuck with me for years and hopefully many more to come, the day he retires is going to be the worst day ever.
