Newport Barber Shop

Literally the worst, I came in and said this is my son first time and he said okay he does kids but not really because he don’t have patience, then my son got in the chair it was going okay and good then my son kept getting hair in his eye so had to stop so clean his eyes then he continue I saw he got one side off and crooked and he started to mumble everytime I made a comment he mumble then I Hurd him curse infront my son becusse I asked him to fix it and got even more mad , we argued called me out my name very unprofessional don’t bring kids there and now my son hairline is crooked for his first haircut

Mo was awesome with our son’s first cut! He was patient and great at making our son feel comfortable and only doing what we asked. Great place and will definitely go again!

Don't know who uploaded the corner store for the barber shop but ok. This is the only place I trust to get my son whose 4 years old to get his haircut. The barber is very kids friendly, gentle and old school. My son looks like a different person every time. I do recommend going really early because his shop is always crowded and you maybe waiting a bit since it's only one guy but it's worth it!

Very good place respectable as a barber and as quality people. I remember the old owner he was great at listening and had alot of influence in the area. We do miss him

My first time. My second choice of the day. The first one was sloooooow. Service was friendly, and personable. I liked the cut and tipped well. Conversation was good and did not distract from the task at hand. I would return. Why didn't I give 5 stars? That is reserved for second and more visits. For example when I enter a bar and my favorite drink is waiting on the bar.
