I don't care if you live next door. As long as Newbold Exchange is managed by Regus/HQ, find another co-working space. I joined Newbold Exchange several years ago when it was an independent co-working space. It was a good space. Amenities decreased over time, but overall, it was a fine place to get work done and I recommended it to others. In June of 2025 a company called Regus/HQ began managing the space. The administrative side of things has become a complete mess, and I've been trying for months to resolve a billing issue related to an incorrectly issued invoice. I've spoken with multiple people about it, written emails, shared screenshots of past bills, made phone calls. Nothing has happened. I keep receiving late fees on an invoice I never should've been issued. The level of radio
So accommodating! I was in Philly visiting relatives over the holidays and stopped in to work from home for one day. Newbold was unable to offer me a day pass as an individual so they just let me work for free for the day. They even provided a monitor, wifi, and free coffee. If you are just traveling through and need the space for the day, I would highly recommend. Close to the airport for easy egress, too.
Stay FAR, FAR away! Newbold Exchange used to be great when it was managed by LPMG. Since HQ/Regus unexpectedly took over management, it has declined significantly. I left right before the change and settled my account with LPMG in October. I had previous overcharging issues with Regus’ 'Spaces' properties in the past and was therefore never going to sign another contract or agreement with Regus. Yet despite making final rent payments to LPMG and never signing anything with Regus, I still get collection notices weekly from various collection agencies. Regus' weekly response is that my 'account is being actively worked on,' whatever that means. I have had to forward the case to the Pennsylvania Bureau of Consumer Protection. As someone else said, even if you live next door, find another spac
My business moved to Newbold Exchange early in 2025 from a co-working space in a high-rise in center city. At the time Newbold provided all the same amenities and conveniences as any co-working facility elsewhere. They offer variety of per diem, short term, and long term office and meeting options. The facility provides near 24/7 access, much better than many center city options. That said, since management changed to Regus in spring 2025, there was no clear communication about the transfer of management and there have been regular billing and invoice errors; management "knows about the errors" but can never provide a timeline for when (or if) they will be corrected. The elevator to the second floor was being repaired in January 2025 and the management then said they expected it to be
Ever since the acquisition of Newbold Exchange by Regus coworking, the services, billing, and communication have declined intensely. I cancelled services, and received this clear cancellation email: "We have received your request for termination, and confirm that your current agreement will end on 2025-09-30. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact your center team." After this, they continue charging me, including several random charges in October and now in November, passing on "late payment fees" and totaling almost $1000. They will not reply to any emails, and upon some online research, I have found Regus does this routinely. I have tried contacting them multiple times directly to resolve, sharing all documentation of the cancellation and they are radio silent. Repo
