Great barbershop with a really welcoming atmosphere. The place is very clean and organized. But the main reason I keep coming back is JR, who usually handles my cuts. He’s skilled, consistent, and always pays attention to detail. The shop also offers plenty of other services besides haircuts, like shaving and waxing, and JR does an excellent job with those too. Highly recommend this place, and JR in particular!

I came as a walk-in, but understandably they were booked solid for the day. Regardless of that, JR was so kind and willing to schedule with me a time to come back in that evening and I can tell you it was absolutely worth the time. He was very kind, took his time with me and made sure that I was happy with my haircut. We talked about how to style it, he complimented my hair and worked with my hair's flow to give it the best result and how I can maintain it. His work is fantastic, Such a good value for money. Very reasonably priced and affordable. I will definitely be going back.

JR is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. He truly takes the time to understand exactly what kind of cut you want and makes sure you walk out with what you had in mind. I’ve changed my hairstyle multiple times over the years, and every single time JR nails it—somehow giving me exactly what I was thinking, even when I’m switching things up. On top of always delivering a super clean, sharp cut, he’s also incredibly easy to chill with, which makes every appointment relaxed and enjoyable. I’ve been going to JR for over six years now, and I honestly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. If you’re looking for consistency, skill, and great vibes, JR is the one.

When I relocated to Washington, I was in need of a new barber. I found JR after an in-depth search, and I'm glad I did! He leaves me looking clean and sharp after every visit, and his skills are unmatched. After a few visits, JR knows the best look and style for me and gets it done quick! I strongly recommend JR at New York Barber & Co!!!! I have been a client of JR’s for many years now and will continue to do so as long as I have hair 😜. I used to live in Bothell and now live in Kenmore, but I would gladly drive another 50 miles to sit, relax, share what’s going on our lives, and leave his shop WAY BETTER than I looked when I walked in. JR is a tremendous talented barber — He is very careful at his craft, truly understands your needs/styles and a very good listener. I am also proud to consider JR a friend.
