New Image Georgette African Hair Braiding & Weaving

Cut my hair while cutting fly always and didn’t say anything. Let me leave the shop without fixing it. Say they can do styles they cant’t. I asked for brick lay parts and I got regular parts and they tried putting bigger braids in my head from what I asked for the. Complained about doing the size I actually asked for. Not even that, Georgette did loose braids in the back of my head that are already slipping out. A lot of snarky comments too. Been going there for 11 years. Won’t be going back again. Sometimes it just takes that one bad time not to return. Hopefully they can fix their customer service.

I went to this shop two days ago. I was told that New Image does really good work. So, I can say firsthand, that they are great. I had two braiders doing my hair most of the time. They were in sync with one another. One didn't braid tighter nor in a different size. They were friendly and professional. This is the first salon that didn't braid beyond tight. I will be returning.

I used to get my hair braided here. But that all changed. It was a girl in the shop who boyfriend said that he will pay for her brace. He didn't and never came back. I was sitting in the chair next to them. Watching it all. Once I finish, I got up and left. The next time I had an appointment there. They thought I was the girl that didn't pay for service. I was super upset. Never been back again in 3 years and never will.

Me, my sister, and my mom have been getting our hair braided here for almost 10 years. Best braiders in the QC, no questions asked. I refuse to let anyone else braid my hair. Aside from the top quality results, they actually care about the health of your hair and that’s so important. The cost reflects the quality of the service and I won’t go anywhere else 🖤

Horrible horrible customer service!!! I sent georgette a picture of how I wanted my hair done, I get there and she tries to say I didn't know you wanted your hair that long (trying to dispute the price) we went back and forth and she left it alone. Someone else did my hair and the braids looked AWFUL they were huge in size and nothing like the picture! Georgette did not want to give me my money back or re do them after arguing for 5 mins she finally redid them and they still looked like crap!! Never will I spend my money here again and you can bet that!
