New Helen’s beauty salon

I booked an SNS manicure at New Helen’s Beauty Salon through Groupon and was pleasantly surprised. Bobo, the nail tech and owner, is amazing at what he does. He’s super detail-oriented, takes his time, and really makes sure your nails come out clean, smooth, and natural-looking. I’ve had SNS done at other places before, but his work is definitely one of the best I’ve experienced. The salon itself isn’t the most modern or fancy, but it’s comfortable. What really stands out is the quality of Bobo’s work and the fair pricing. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving each client a good experience. If you’re looking for a solid SNS manicure that lasts, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Helen's place has been my go to nail salon for about 6 years now. Her staff work very hard and Helen is always there to help translate what you want if need be. I suggest you make your appointment early and arrive on time. Prices are fair. Parking is a pain. Got these done today: coffin shape power dip set for $40.

I needed a last-minute pedicure for an event and Rosa was so sweet to get me in the very next day. I was so grateful to her for going out of her way to book the service on what was supposed to be her day off. As for the service itself, Rosa took her time to pamper me with the full spa treatment (exfoliation, massage, mask, etc) and gave my nails a lovely pop of color for the summer. Will absolutely be coming back here!

Rosa is very sweet and they do not charge to remove preexisting gel, however, on the phone I was told a gel pedicure was $30 but at the salon I was told $35. Not a huge price shift but I don’t like being misinformed because I’ll never know if it was a gimmick to get me through the door. The pedicure seating is not adjustable and made of wood (there’s a cushion) with no place to rest your head. The place you rest your feet is the corner of a marble edge. Highly uncomfortable. The other girl working seemed to only be comfortable with Rosa answering the phone although they both speak English. This resulted in me being left with cold or unattended feet over 5x within 10 min which was a bit frustrating. I was also dissatisfied with how my toes turned out. Wonderful staff. Esme is my eyelash technician. Absolutely wonderful job each time. Rosa, the nail technician, amazing manicures and pedicures. Loving hands from them all. Highly recommended
