New Era Barbershop

I was down in Wallace visiting family and REALLY needed a cut and beard trim. I called New Era and he was able to get me in just 2 hours later. As soon as the cut started, I knew i was not only in good hands, I was in EXCELLENT company. We talked the entire time about life, family, upbringing, everything! The conversation was so good I wasn't even paying attention to the mirror to see how it was going. When the cut was over he grabbed a large mirror and showed me the finished look. It was the best beard trim I had ever gotten, EVER! Even a week later as I write this review, my beard looks amazing. What started as a one-off cut has turned into excitement to make this a part of my annual trip routine. I wish he wasn't 11 hours away!

I'm from Raleigh, but my dad is from the area and referred me to New Era Barbershop. Upon entering I was surprised that who I believe is the owner even knew my dad, due to the age gap. Waited about 40 minutes due to about 4 customers which included kids showing hospitality and professionalism by offering the kids snacks. Mind you his co-barber was also helping with the kids cuts as well helping the business be efficient. As far as our haircuts, my haircut by the co-barber was far better than I expected because a lot of barbers like to push my hairline waaayyy back, and he got the haircut style right. The main barber cleaned my dad up as well. 5 stars

Was in town for a golf tournament and needed a beard trim. Walked in cold and was able to sit immediately. Barber that did my cut was polite, professional and made sure he understood what I wanted. It was a great experience. Truly a customer focused experience. This OG was pleased.

I went to New Era Barbershop for the first time, the vibe in the shop was so friendly & upbeat. Alex did an outstanding job on my haircut. I am a Caucasian women with an undercut & he cut it perfectly. Alex will be my forever barber in Wallace!! Thanks Alex for making me look good! 😉
