I have been a client of Kamilah's for about 10-15 years and there is absolutely nothing bad I can say about my experience. I remember the first time I stepped into her salon. I scheduled a consultation. We talked about the condition of hair and set a plan. The way she took the time to examine my hair and ask questions truly set the tone for what turned into a loving relationship. The setting of the salon is always warm and welcoming. From watching TV while sitting under the dryer to rocking out to throwback jams. What I love most is when I had some health issues that affected my hair. Kamilah took the time to help me to continue to manage it during these times especially when I was unable to see her. If she notices other changes to my hair, she makes mention of it and we work out a soluti

Natural Ladies this is not the place for you! This review is not to take away from the stylists or the skills that they may have but sometimes you can run a successful business not based on customer service but simply by supply and demand. Being that this establishment is in a mostly minority neighborhood and women of color tend to not be able to live without their weaves, braids, extensions etc. you can provide that service and do very well. That being said... Customer service in this establishment was non-existent. When I arrived I was greeted by nothing but stares & an empty reception desk. Little did I know the shop owner was the first chair at the door and she was there working on a client. She also did not greet me but gave a glace in my direction then continued on instead.
