New Boundaries Hair Care Salon

A little disappointed in this business. My mother has had her hair done here a couple of times. She travels down from New York because they are the only place she can find and trust to do her hair the way she likes. We have both left multiple messages over the last 6 months to make an appointment. Neither one of us has had any luck with a call back to even say we are closed or no longer open or whatever the case may be. It sucks because she loved the service but we have taken our business elsewhere. Please try to contact your clients back to at least let them know you've received the call. This is poor customer service.

This salon is awesome. The stylist and the woman who prepped me were exceptional. I had an hair emergency Sunday afternoon and the stylist squeezed me in @ 3pm. She was able to do my sew-in for me (That came out beautiful). I was so happy with the finished looked and she was able to put all three of my bundles in my little head :)

Here’s my first issues with New Boundaries. 1. They moved locations but still have their old location on their website which is shut down & being leased. They state at the bottom of their page that their main headquarters was moved to Basin road yet they have no address for that. 2. My mother made an appointment for me to get my starter locs a week before my actual appointment yet when the day of my appointment came ‘ she not only sent us to a shut down building but she didn’t respond to our calls. When she finally called back 33 minutes later after we’d left already. She was very rude’ nonchalant & ignorant. In the middle of my mother speaking ‘ Jennifer hung up without a word. Very unprofessional & a waste of time. Please take your money elsewhere.

Salon is not at this location is anymore, not sure why this isn't updated...they left a few years ago. Owner responded saying she never met me, but she did my hair before (took hours, left me under the dryer and went shopping and to eat lunch) never went back. Did my Mom's hair a few times (always looked terrible), I'm so glad she stopped going. And still...not at the location listed.

I came as a new customer, Jennifer never showed up to our appointment i set a week in advance. When i called to ask where she was she gave me an attitude and said she didn't care if i waited or not and proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and stated we must've of been disconnected she made it clear we weren't and hung up on me again. I was furious as i made this appointment a week ahead of time which wasted my time and left me without the service i needed. Horrible customer service and she obviously doesn't genuinely care about the customer of the business. Spend your hard earned money somewhere more deserving. UPDATE!! 2/25/20 Your comment to my review is completely fabricated and false I’ve never heard of your business beforehand so how could I have cancelled an appt a month prior.
