Nelson Men's Grooming

Nelson is clearly very gifted and knowledgeable with all things men's grooming. He went out of his way to help explain things to me and was able to get exactly the look I wanted. I got tips and suggestions for the best things to help keep or improve on the look I was going for. Nelson takes a personal interest in his clients and his warm demeanor made it easy to just talk and have a good time through the process. Nelson takes his time to do an excellent job, but you don't even notice because he's such a great conversationalist. Will definitely be back! Ryan

Since moving back to the Dallas area, I’ve been looking for a barber that cares about their customer and also knows how to transform. Nelson was patient with me, heard what I wanted, and he really gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever received (and fixed some other aesthetic spots too). He’s kind, great conversationalist, really loves his work, and wants his customers to look great. I am so glad that I went to him! 7 stars if I could rate him that much.

Visiting Nelson isn't just getting a haircut, it's getting an experience. First, you get Nelson's delightful personality and banter. Hilarious conversation, great treatment, and unrivaled care will fill every visit. Next, you get the most meticulous and thoughtful grooming you'll ever have the pleasure of receiving - head, hair, eyebrows, beard, etc. He can take even the vaguest of thoughts you have about how you'd like your hair to look and turn your dome into a masterpiece. Then you add in little touches of barbers of yore like hot towels for your face. Nelson has been cutting my hair for a year and a half and I have never been so impressed and happy with a Barber. He is patient and willing to try new things, offering an excellent opinion on what will work for you personally. I have never seen a Barber be so thorough with not just your hair, but a complete experience from the neck up. I look forward to getting my hair cut, I never did before, because Nelson is always upbeat and fun to be around....always a good story and a good listener. A great neighbor and a better barber. Sad having had to move away after nearly a decade of regular trims and cuts.
