I highly recommend this hair salon for all your styling needs! Jessica was incredible— she is highly professional, warm, and made sure to take care of the health of my hair during my silk press. Jessica knows exactly how to take care of natural hair of all types without tangles, breakage, or pain. She is so gentle to the touch and I left the chair feeling like my hair was in great hands. I can’t recommend her enough!

I used to go to this salon frequently. I stopped because of the price gauging: there’s no consistency with the prices even when getting the same style from the same stylist. When I raised this concern, the stylist said the salon encourages her to try to charge more because the prices are only listed as starting points. (So I guess she gets to make up any number above the starting point?) There’s also no respect for your time. The stylist double booked me, resulting in me having a 6+ hour long hair appointment, and had the audacity to charge a different price than expected. I haven’t been back.

I visited the salon this past Saturday and my experience was nothing short of amazing! I was warmly greeted and serviced by Jessica who made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment. My hair was in need of some TLC and Jessica was so reassuring and affirmative. She kept me informed of each step and provided some great recommendations for after care. This was my first ever silk press and it won’t be my last all because of Jessica! Her service and overall energy was top tier and I will definitely be returning. After searching far and wide in NYC for someone that really understands my hair type, I finally found Jessica. She did my hair with love & care, and it was felt from the first moment she shampooed me. My hair needed some TLC, and when a lot of salons made me feel like my hair was too "complicated", Jessica knew exactly how to approach my hair without me even having to tell her what I needed. I enjoyed being in her chair when I was living in New York. She is a one of a kind stylist. It's rare these days when your stylist has the natural intuition to know what is best for your hair and features right from the first encounter. If you are in the New York area, make sure you visit Jessica, she will take good care of you.

If I could give 100 stars I could. Had a lovely experience with Jessica Phillip. She was personable , knowledgeable , and gentle with my hair. I was able to discuss my plans and ask questions with ease. The salon is very welcoming . My hair looked amazing post visit well worth it.
