Ndakaru Hair Braiding

So……I wish I could give them 1000 stars. I took my chances and went lol I’m so happy I didn’t listen to yall or my mom ! 🤣 From what I seen all of them can braid really well. I showed her a picture and she did BETTER than the inspo. she has a permanent client and I came all the way from delaware ! it was $250 for this length and I had to separate and buy my own boho hair I personally I didn’t mind cause why not lol but that’s fine with me !!!

Absolutely the worst hair shop experience I’ve ever had. The stylist spent the entire appointment complaining about my hair, saying it wasn’t “good” and that I needed to cut it instead of… doing the service I booked. To make it worse, she didn’t even want to finish my hair. I was literally leaving for vacation the next day. If you’re looking to leave a salon feeling insecure, stressed, and disrespected, this is the place for you. Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable experience. The only redeeming part of coming here was the Caribbean spot a few doors down—best oxtails I’ve ever had. At least something in the area knows how to do their job.

This is the worst braid experience I ever had. I came to this salon with very short hair and wanted individuals. The older lady sitting in the last seat before you go to the back said she could do it.She braided my hair so extremely tight that I had to take the middle out the next day. I saturated my hair with braid spray to loosen the rest of the braids. Those braids broke my hair off so bad it was embarrassing. I will NEVER REFER anyone to this place nor will I ever patronage them again. Oh and not to mention they came around and collected the money halfway through the service . Horrible experience. They are very rude, dismissive, and hostile. They were laughing and joking about almost every customer. The person who did my hair became upset when I asked to have the ends of my braids Curly instead of straight. She also was upset because I wanted to see my hair before I paid. My braids still have knots if you ask me(I wanted knotless). My braids are nice but it isn’t a friendly environment. They treat you poorly as if you’re beneath them!

These Queens are truly the best at what they do. I’ve been coming here since I was 11 and they recently did my hair again for 35th birthday. So to see they are still in business, with the two shops on the block thank you. Style Done by Fanta.
