I booked with Chrisa for the first time after finding her on TikTok (@the_chrisa). I got a traditional sew-in with soft layers using three bundles of Chrisa hair. The pricing was very affordable, and as a young woman who likes to maintain her hair regularly, I really appreciated that. She was very responsive via text leading up to my appointment. The appointment itself went smoothly — I was even able to start earlier than scheduled. My hair was washed, blow-dried, and braided by a very kind assistant. I specifically mentioned that I did not want my braids or tracks tight, and she truly listened to me. That meant a lot because comfort is important. A week later, I’m still in love with my hair and will definitely be returning!
I booked a sewin with a closure with Naeemah at her "temp" salon on 6004 Landsdowe Ave. Even booked a consult 2 weeks before the appointment to make sure we were on the same page. However when she was done you could see my tracs AND my braids underneath fom the yop (this was after she supposedly installed 3 bundles?!!) PLUS she left a whole row of my own braided hair completely exposed on the side. The gaps between the stiches are so wide you can literally lift the tracs away from my scalp. I didnt see all this till I got home but i know she did and I can't believe anyone would let their clients walk out the salon the way she did. YET HERE WE ARE. she does not respond to her email posted on her site nor to any of the text I've sent asking she fix the issues. In addition i ordered hai
I really had my high hopes for this place but today it went to a totally “ Not coming back” Just got my lashes done with a tech that I believe is a beginner. First off I always show the lash tech the style I want and this case I showed her the classic style I wanted didn’t followed the picture so she decided to do whatever style she was comfortable with . Stayed there for an hour half for a horrible ending , my eyelash look like a 5 year old did it , bad blend , lashes glued to my skin and within 2 hrs some were falling off without touching it and for $130!! Save your money instead and go somewhere else . Call them , emailed them to get it fix with someone else but it looks like they don’t have more lash techs so I refuse to get it fix with the same person . Asked for refund instead cause
I am reaching out to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Deja on February 27. Shortly after my appointment, less than a week later, my nails began popping off. When I noticed this, I immediately contacted Deja and informed her about the issue, suggesting that the entire set be redone since, by the time she responded, I only had one nail left on each hand. Deja admitted that the issue occurred because she used an expired bonding product. While I was understanding, I expected a proper resolution, which she initially agreed to. However, scheduling a redo became increasingly difficult due to delayed responses and last-minute cancellations on her part: March 8: After three days of no response, I notified her that all my nails had fallen off. She then informed
I wanted to share my experience because it’s really upsetting to see how Deja has been handling her nail business. First off, she’s not licensed, which I honestly didn’t know at first, and she’s been using expired products on clients — something she even admitted to when one of her client’s sets completely lifted and popped off just days after getting them done. That client tried multiple times to get them redone or refunded, and Deja kept canceling, delaying, or straight-up ignoring messages. It’s not just unprofessional — it’s disappointing to see someone I care about not taking her business or her clients seriously. Speaking from my own experience, she once did my acrylics, and they were so thin and sharp, they were uncomfortable from the start. I even scratched myself without meaning
