My family lived in this appt. in '53,'54 & '55 when my Dad was stationed at the Navy Yard. Our apt. was 9-G. My sister & I walked to Sacred Heart School (I was in the 8th. grade) and then I caught the bus across the park to downtown Brooklyn to attend St. Joseph's Commercial H.S. for my freshman & sophomore yr.
went to Wegmans for the first time, loved it going back soon
Nice neighborhood, accessible to buses and stores and schools.
