Navy Exchange Barber Shop

What would be the reason a barber shop closes the entire day during the week.... the weekend I can understand but during the week thats insane just like the commissary being closed on a monday.

I’d give zero stars if I could… I’m a service member stationed here on base and was denied service upon entering. There were 3 workers there today upon my arrival and it was not busy. I grabbed a ticket and didn’t even get a chance to sit as I was quickly approached and told by the male barber who doesn’t even cut my hair to go find a “new barber off base”. I stood there in confusion like was I being mistaken for someone else because I can’t recall when was I ever rude to their employees… I asked when and what did I even do for you guys to deny me from getting a haircut. He finally goes you were told many times in the past to sit up straight which I did indeed when I was told to but is this really a legitimate reasoning? Trying to get a hair cut during operating hours. Got told to come back later with no one in there. This base really needs to do an audit of its services. Or if you're going to make up operating hours. Post it on the door.

Went for a regulation haircut after I got done they unchanged me $10 for them using their scissors.... not going back definitely dont recommend

jonathan - a barber at this shop that is decent but has horrible customer service. Everytime I’ve gone into the barber it has been at times they were operating, and was denied because he was leaving early which is or course very frustrating due to them not allowing appointments. Today I went in for a haircut and the first thing I was greeted with was him shaking his head, I asked if he had room today, and he said he’ll be going to lunch, I asked what time he’d be back, and I won’t lie and say that I sounded super understanding because this was the third time this happened, I was immediately called out for having an attitude, told that he has a life and told to go to another barber.
